Police: Upper Darby woman hit boyfriend with car on New Year’s Eve

An Upper Darby woman is being sought in connection with a New Year’s Eve incident in which police say she hit her boyfriend with her car following an argument outside of a Taco Bell.

According to news reports, 23-year-old Destenee Green could face charges of attempted murder and is currently at large. Police say she and her boyfriend got into a fight inside a vehicle parked at the fast-food restaurant, and after he exited the car, she allegedly drove her car onto the sidewalk and struck him from behind.

Upper Darby Police say surveillance footage captured the incident, and they released a statement that said the victim is “lucky to be alive” after suffering multiple injuries. Police are encouraging Green to turn herself in.
